Amsterdam, 17 August 2012 - TomTom today
announces a 10-year partnership with VMZ Berlin, the
operator of Berlin's Traffic Information Centre. TomTom will
provide VMZ Berlin with real-time traffic information for Berlin
and for selected parts of the State of Brandenburg. By using
TomTom's highly accurate HD Flow traffic product, traffic
management in Berlin can react faster to traffic congestion and
improve traffic information for citizens, enterprises and media.

Product Unit. "Working together, VMZ Berlin and TomTom will tackle
the difficult traffic issues, ultimately saving drivers in Berlin
and Brandenburg time and money."

TomTom HD Flow delivers speed information for all main roads so
that traffic flow can be visualised and evaluated to assess true
travel times for the entire road network. VMZ uses this information
to provide strategic traffic management to Berlin and parts of
Brandenburg, including the corridor leading to and from the new
Berlin Brandenburg Airport BBI. The traffic service also can be
found on the website www.viz-info.de, and it is free of charge to
the public.
