    One point was made clear in the discussion on 24 October about "Women as Creators and Users of ITS": technology is still mainly dominated by men. It is true that a change seems to be coming soon, but nevertheless, existing technologies that serve as instruments for further research, were mostly developed by men.> more

  • Visions of pupils for the future of mobility

    On the public day of the ITS World Congress 2012 four groups of students, who participated in a three-day ITS workshop initiated by the Austrian Road Safety Board, had the chance to present their projects to the public. They generated exciting ideas for the next 30 years but also dealt with current solutions and services to understand them better.> more

  • ITS Ball in imperial atmosphere

    At the close of another interesting day at the ITS Vienna 2012, the ITS community gathered at the sold out Vienna Hofburg for a Gala Dinner and the first ever ITS Ball. After an exquisite three-course-dinner, there were different kinds of musical entertainment in each room.> more
