    On behalf of bmvit and accompanied by AustriaTech, the Austrian Road Safety Board organised four ITS workshops for pupils. The workshops were divided in three modules and started with an introduction to the topic ITS. The focus of the second day was to experience Intelligent Transport Systems in real life.> more

    In spring semester 2012 teachers had the opportunity to participate in a training session for teachers. The aim of the workshop was to combine didactical approaches of teaching with a current topic from applied research.     After months of meticulous work for the selection of the papers and the organisation of the sessions, the preliminary programme of the 19th ITS World Congress has finally been unveiled. With over 1000 papers submitted from the three regions Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas, and over 800 selected by a group of experts, this year's Congress is expected to be one of the most exciting events of 2012.> more

  • ITS-EduNet Courses: sign in!

    There will be a number of short courses on issues in ITS taking place before the ITS World Congress 2012 in Vienna. These will be organised by an international network focusing on training and education in ITS in Europe, ITS-EduNet. Topics include urban and inter-urban traffic management, data and information, cooperative systems and the benefits of ITS.> more
