The Transportation Informatics Group (TIG) is part of the Institute of Smart Systems Technologies which offered at the „Information Technology“ programs at the Alpen-Adria-Universitaet Klagenfurt. TIG also organizes scientific workshops, excursions and international student exchange and work in close co-operation with industry and international researchers.

Austrian Standards Institute is the neutral and globally acknowledged Austrian platform for national, European and international standardisation. Austrian Standards Institute coordinates and manages the standardisation work of more than 5 900 experts from enterprises, authorities, testing and research centers and lobbies.

The CEREMH is the French National Centre of Expertise for Mobility. We are an NGO working on accessibility and mobility for the elderly and disabled. Current projects include using virtual reality and simulators to evaluate accessibility and the real-time guidance of pedestrians with smartphones to accessible routes and transport. We also assess and train drivers in adapted vehicles or wheelchairs and work on green multi-modal transport options to encourage active mobility for an aging society.

The Faculty of Transportation Sciences - a leading transport-oriented faculty in the Czech Republic - is a part of the Czech Technical University in Prague boasting a history of more than 300 years of existence. Over 1500 students in several specialized bachelor’s, master‘s and Ph.D. programs benefit from project-oriented studies which enable team work on transport projects under the supervision of experienced specialists.

HISO is tackling the survey, research, development and fostering of new road-related industries in order to contribute to development of roads that respond to the vision of the future, and enhances the functions of our nation's roads by coordinating the efforts of the government and private sector.

The International Road Federation (IRF) is a nongovernmental, not-for-profit organization with the mission to encourage and promote development and maintenance of better, safer and more sustainable roads and road networks. Working together with members and associates in over 90 countries, IRF promotes social and economic benefits that flow from well-planned and environmentally sound road transport networks.

ITS Austria (Intelligent Transport Systems Austria) is the platform of the Austrian actors in the mobility domain. Based on the Austrian ITS Action Plan the members, composed from public authorities, economy, industry and research organisations, are committed to contribute to an interoperable multimodal mobility system. ITS Austria seeks to strengthen the participant network on a national level, and to promote Austrian ITS skills on an international level.

ITS Bretagne promotes and coordinates a cluster focused on ITS development. These missions are serving regional economic development and facilitates dissemination of knowledge. ITS Bretagne animates, coordinates and supports the players and initiatives for ITS deployment.

With one of the worlds most advanced ITS cities, City of Aalborg, and a leading ITS research institution, Aalborg University, the North Denmark Region is the ITS test site of Denmark, where new technologies are developed and tested before they are implemented throughout the country. The region is member of ERTICO and active in several European research project. A central project in the testsite is the open ITS Platform with an OBU in 500 cars.

SpirOps is a Private Scientific Research Lab focused on Artificial Intelligence issues. SpirOps' team developed a patented Artificial Intelligence design paradigm called "Drive Oriented ™" that: - cleverly mimics the decision making process of human beings, - allows to create behaviors incrementally, - helps keep a linear complexity along the creation process.

St. Poelten University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1996 with approximately 1,800 students enrolled currently. Study opportunities comprise degree programs and continuing education courses in the fields of Health & Social Sciences, Business and Technology (including Railway Infrastructure Technology). R&D capacities are continuously expanded; an increasing number of projects of applied R&D in an interdisciplinary and international context is pursued.

The Swedish ITS Postgraduate School is a cooperation between ITS Sweden and six universities. It started in 2008 and includes for the moment 15 doctoral students. An overall goal with the school is to strengthen the academic side of ITS as a complement to the strong industrial development. This is achieved by specialized doctoral courses, organization of seminars and workshops, multidisciplinary research projects in cooperation with industry, and a number of other networking activities.

The Transport Research Centre (CDV) is the only scientific research public institution under the Ministry of Transport. The basic purposes of the centre are research and developement activities, processing expertise, ensure projects and services for Ministry of Transport, as well as providing expert opinions for authorities, both public and commercial entities. The Transport Research Centre employs more than 150 workers, among whom are experts from all modes of transport.

With almost 6,000 alumni and more than 2,700 students currently taking its eleven bachelor’s and seventeen master’s degree programs, UAS Technikum Wien is the largest, purely technical university of applied sciences in Austria. All bachelor’s and master’s programs are based on solid theoretical foundations, while also being practice-oriented. Specific ITS-related programs are the bachelor’s program Transport and Environment and the master’s program Intelligent Transport Systems.

via donau is an internationally leading inland waterway maintenance administration in the Danube region. She is tasked by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology with the sustainable development of the Danube River as both a natural habitat and a dynamic economic region.
