The French institute of science and technology for transport, development and networks (IFSTTAR) conducts applied research and expert appraisals in the fields of transport, infrastructure, natural hazards and urban issues, with the aim of improving the living conditions and, more broadly, promoting the sustainable development of our societies. In the field of transport and road safety, IFSTTAR promotes new concepts of mobility including Road of 5th Generation and Highway Automation.

The ORF is the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation. The ORF/Ö3 traffic service department coordinates all traffic informations for Austria in the ORF. The traffic reports come from the police, emergency services, road maintenance and motorists - called Ö3vers. Additionally the traffic editors use automated messages by traffic sensors and traffic cams. Traffic information is distributed by radio services every 30 minutes and by RDS-TMCplus.
